Hello sunshine!

“One person´s food can be another person´s poison” as I have shared with you in the past, a statement that applies even to food that´s considered harmless such as grains. They are, as a matter of fact, the basis of the macrobiotic diet, a diet that has helped so many people improve their health and quality of life. However, and based on my experience, they might not be the best option for someone who struggles with skin issues.

If this is your case or if you are simply looking for an alternative to porridge, then today I am sharing with you a new version made of fruit. I hope you like it!

 

Fruit Porridge Recipe (for 1)

Ingredients:

  • 4 over-ripe bananas
  • 1 pear
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
  • Raisins to taste
  • Almonds to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Place the peeled bananas and the pear in the food processor and pulse until everything is combined. Personally I like to leave some chunks of fruit for some texture
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the cinnamon and mix it with a spoon
  3. Place the raisins and almonds on top
