Hello sunshine!

Chickpea is one of my favorite legumes not only because of its flavor, but also because it´s super versatile! Did you know that with chickpea you can make from whipped egg whites, vegan version, to tofu? One of these days I´ll share these recipes with you. 🙂 Until then let me tell you how I make my chickpea salad, a great option for these hot days with the plus of being satiating.


Chickpea Salad


  • 2 1/2 cups of cooked chickpea
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1/4 cup of parsley
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Himalayan pink sal



  1. Place the chickpeas in a bowl
  2. Chop the garlic and onion and add them to the chickpeas
  3. Separately mix the olive oil, paprika and salt and season the salad
  4. Finally add the chopped parsley


And because summer rhymes with salads, don´t forget to eat plenty of them! 😉 Your body will thank you! 🙂
